Adult groups

Pilgrim Faith has groups of all types for members to share in fellowship, fun and faith:

Short Term Study Groups (four to six weeks) are offered several times a year for face to face study.  Enrollment is open to all interested adults or older youth.  Recent study topics included, “Prayer,” “Finding Your Way Through the Muck and Mess of Life, “Taking God to Work,” “Miracles of Jesus”, “Finding God in Hard Times”, “Getting Back Up when You Are Down”, “Questions I’d Like to Ask God”, “Discernment”, “The Book of Revelation”.


Four Things You Need to Know about God” Please join Pastor Peggy for our summer Bible study on four Monday evenings in June. “Four Things You Need to Know about God” is the theme. Sessions will be held in the church office beginning June 5 at 7:00 pm. All are welcome, regardless of faith background. Participants should enter through the courtyard door on 51st Ave. For more information contact the church at 708-422-4200.

 [EXPAND Women’s Groups]

W.I.S.H. (Women In Step with Him)    W.I.S.H. is open to all women of the church and their friends. 

WISH will meet at 7 pm. Wednesday, May 3 in the church lounge. Mel Tracy will do a presentation on attracting birds and butterflies to your garden and how to keep pests away. We will chip in for the cost of pizza, beverages are on our own. WISH is open to all women of the church and their friends. Call Gail Siwek for further information at (708) 423-0399.


(Seniors Together Are Really Special)]

STARS is a very active group for those 60 or better. The group is a mix of church members and seniors from surrounding communities.

Pilgrim Faith United Church of Christ at 9411 S. 51st Ave. is inviting seniors 60 and over for lunch at 12:00 Noon – on May 5th, are you lucky? Join us for bingo. Cash prizes. On May 19th, Tim Wilsey will discuss the mobsters and operations from various eras of organized crime in Chicago.
