What We Believe

As a member of the United Church of Christ, we subscribe to their philosophy that the Bible is our guide, while honoring the right and responsibility that each of us has to believe and act according to our own understanding of God's will and word. We strongly believe that God wants us to take care of our fellow humans to our maximum capability, in our giving of material wealth and in our prayers of petition. We believe that the Holy Spirit will abide with us forever, and will guide and teach us in the ways of God, just as it did for Jesus. We believe that Jesus died for our sins, and in doing so has set us free.

We also believe that God is not finished with his creation, and that there is more to learn. He is still speaking to us, and it is our duty to listen and believe. His story is not over yet.

We stand ready to expand our mission into areas never done before, if God calls us to do so. We stand ready to reach out to those who God tells us to reach out to. God is still speaking to us.
