SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School provides a learning experience for all children of Pilgrim Faith, starting with children age 3, and extending through high-schoolers.  The youngest children are grouped by age for appropriate learning including arts and music and story lessons.  Children in the first through sixth grades are involved in a "Rotation" plan with themed topics while the junior highs (grades 7 & 8) and the senior highs (grades 9--12) enjoy discussion group settings.

The Rotation plan lets each group experience a learning opportunity using a different  technique on each of four Sundays for a given theme.  These include drama, games, video, and crafts, each presented by a different teaching team.  The children love the plan, for it gives them some mobility and the opportunity to meet with different teachers each week.  The staff loves it because it calls for a single lesson plan preparation for a whole month and the chance to get to know all the children instead of only one class..
