S.P.L.A.T. – Spreading Peace, Love And Truth – is for students in grades six through eight.
Please welcome Bob Cook and Chris Cook as the new leaders of our junior high youth group, SPLAT. The Cooks
— who aren’t related! — each have kids in the group, and have had kids go through it, and they recognize its importance in building our kids’ spiritual, social and personal connections as they start their approach to confirmation during their freshmen year of high school.
Our senior highs meet a couple times a month for fellowship, discussion, activities and service to others.
The Craft Fair is coming up on Saturday, March 10th. We will need all hands on deck that day to help Kathy Faulkner with set-up, clean-up, as well as serving lunch and snacks. If you haven’t already, sign-up for a time slot, we also will need parents to help out with the lunch. This is an important event that helps fund raise for the Sr. High Mission Trip this summer.
We will also be meeting on Sunday, March 25th from 11:00-1:30 a.m. to discuss the mission trip and finish painting the mural in the Sr. High Room! Be sure to bring some clothes to paint in! Summer is coming, and it’s time to get busy doing God’s
[EXPAND Bell Choir]Young people age 6th grade through 12th grade are welcome to play in the hand bell choir. This group learns how to play a four octave set of Schulmerich hand bells, as well as reading music, counting music, following a director, and being a team player. They are scheduled to play at least once a month and have enhanced the service with music at every point, be it a Hymn, Offertory, Prelude or Communion music. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings following the service for one hour, September through April. Please contact the church office if interested.
“UP” Youth Organization
The Open and Affirming committee is proud to announce that the youth organization “UP”.
UP is a safe place where young people in the LGBT community can come and discuss issues, share ideas and hang out without any pressure or judgments. UP is a chaperoned, safe place for teens and youth in our area who may also be questioning their sexual identity.
It is open to all young people of all faiths and walks of life who are interested. If you know someone who could
