YOUTH FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Pilgrim Faith has
fellowship programs for youth in three age groups, as follows:
The Senior High
Youth Fellowship is
for youth in the Ninth through Twelfth Grades (High School).
Their program is varied and includes both fellowship and service
projects. Some of the activities they have participated in
recently include serving Easter Sunday breakfast, participating
in the CROP Walk, going on Mission work trips, and attending the
U.C.C.'s National Youth Event.
The C.I.A.
(Christians in Action)
is the name taken by the junior high school age young people
(Sixth through Eighth Grades). They, too, do service
projects while having fun together. They have helped our PADS
Homeless Shelter by doing fund-raising, have gone on retreats
and lock-ins, made trips to museums, and played Bible games.
Youth Express and
GRUBS
were names for the fellowship groups encompassing children in the First
through fifth Grades, now merged into one new group
called the "M&M's". (M&M means Mighty Miracles). These
kids really get into some interesting stuff, including
the Fall Fun Fest, and the Grandparent/Grandchild Adoption program.
Their program also includes making greeting cards for shut-ins,
corresponding with and supporting our "Mission Child", being part of
the CROP walk, as well as skating, bowling and watching movies.
Watch the Calendar and News
pages for things these groups are doing. They'll keep all
our young people busy and active in Church-related activities!
