RE-DISCOVER YOUR FAITH.
FIND YOURSELF HERE.

As Jesus taught us, we are called to love our neighbors.

At Pilgrim Faith United Church of Christ, we embrace diverse lives, loves, and spiritual journeys.  We welcome immigrants and refugees. We welcome the LGBTQ+ community, knowing there is a place at God’s table for everyone. We are a multiracial and multicultural church, never excluding anyone based on skin color, culture, or ethnic origin.

We embrace abilities and disabilities, by ensuring our building and fellowship are accessible to all. We seek justice and peace in our community and world. We care about God’s creation by caring for our environment and being good stewards of our resources.  We work to reduce stigmas and promote the inclusivity of all people.

Who We Are

We believe in extravagant welcome. As Jesus did not turn people away, we don't either. We insist that God’s communion table is for all, and God’s promise in baptism is binding. We extend hospitality as a symbol of God’s love. We welcome people of other faiths in worship, in work, in prayer, and at the Lord’s table.

Our church life together is grounded in worship that draws from the best of our traditions and is open to the Spirit moving through us today.  Together we engage in programs of education, service, spiritual practices, fellowship, and music; all that we might grow closer to God, be drawn into a deeper relationship with one another, and be more steadfastly connected to the community and world in which we live. We rely on God's grace and guidance on our spiritual journey together.

What We Believe

  • We believe in God’s continuing covenant.

  • We believe that religion and science are not mutually exclusive, so both your head and heart are welcome at Pilgrim Faith UCC.

  • We believe God created the world and continues to create it every day.

  • We believe all people are created in God’s image, which is graceful and powerful.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is our friend and teacher for all.

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is the power of God at work in our daily lives.

  • We believe that we are called to love God with all that we are and all that we have and to also love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

  • We believe that by the grace of God we can change lives.
